Workers' online holiday shopping habits revealed

By Debra Auerbach, CareerBuilder Writer

Too scared to brave the throngs of "Black Friday" shoppers wreaking havoc on anyone who stands in their way of a great bargain?

Perhaps you'd rather start checking gifts off your holiday shopping list the Monday after Thanksgiving, while in the safety of your office cubicle. According to a recent CareerBuilder "Cyber Monday" Internet usage survey, 50 percent of American workers plan to spend time holiday shopping online at work this season. Of those workers, 34 percent will spend one hour or more shopping, up from 27 percent in 2010.

Check out the below infographic for more eye-opening statistics on workers' online habits. (Click to see the full fize.)
